The 2024 GTIPA New Delhi Summit convened recently this November and released two new reports titled 1) The Vital Importance of Digital Inclusivity for Global Economic Growth and 2) The U.S.-India Subnational Innovation Competitiveness Index.
The first report cover how information and communications technology is driving global economic growth and economic opportunity. It details how countries are taking effective steps to deploy digital infrastructure, enhance citizens’ digital skills and literacy, empower women and disabled citizens to leverage digital tools, and helping small- and medium-sized enterprises take advantage of digital technologies. The second report is a deeper comparison look between the U.S. and India and how regional characteristics, policies, and socioeconomic factors can influence their innovation competitiveness.
