This Guide, developed by Craig Moss of Ethisphere and Jennifer Brant of Innovation Council, provides insights and guidance for organizations taking action to improve diversity and inclusion in their internal processes for developing, identifying, and managing intellectual property (IP). Intangible assets drive value across organizations and sectors. It is crucial that everyone contributing to innovation be appropriately recognized and rewarded. Moreover, organizations that leverage the good ideas of all their employees can improve their competitive position, while attracting and retaining top talent. The Guide is based in part on conversations among representatives of companies and tech transfer offices from universities and research institutes, organized jointly by WIPO and Invent Together during the 2021 – 2023 period, across geographic regions.
